Boston
University Corporate Education Center Classes.
In association with MAX
Technical Training, Boston University's innovative, international
project management classes are now available in the Cincinnati
/ Dayton area. Courses are 100% compliant with the Project Management
Institute's current Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK).
Principles & Techniques of Project Management.
This pragmatic, three-day class provides you with both an overview
of project management concepts & principles plus basic planning
and controlling skills that you can take back and immediately
use to better organize and control your projects. This class
combines lecture, small group case studies and discussions. Each
team creates a project plan with the major components from objectives
through a detailed schedule. Also addressed are execution, controlling,
risk analysis and closure.
How to Assess & Mange Project Risk.
Another pragmatic, PMBOK based class designed to help you identify
and assess potential risks to your project - so that you may
take appropriate action before a risk does unacceptable damage
to your project. This class presents a "graded" approach
to managing risk, so that scarce resources and time are spent
dealing with the more likely, higher impact risks. The current
PMBOK approach of systematically identifying, analyzing, and
responding to project risk is followed.
